Midhopestones Charity Gala
Our country show is organised and run by the people living in and around Midhopestones. Our aim is to bring together our friends and neighbours whilst raising money for charity.
We hold regular informal meetings to arrange and discuss the forthcoming show over a glass of wine or a beer. Everyone is welcome.
In 1290 Elias de Midhope, Lord of The Manor granted a charter that a market and fair be held on the eve of St Barnabas (11th June) the date may have changed but Elias would be happy to see his tradition carried on in the village.
